About Us
Giovanni's is the culmination of many years of restaurant experience. This started in the late 70's through to the millenium with the famous Mamma Mia's, Joe's Wine Bar in Chester and also Leo's Restaurant in Monton, Manchester - specialising in 'Puglian Cuisine' using family recipes.
Due to Joe Labella’s retirement, his son and head chef; Giovanni, has taken on the restaurant to continue with the family business.
Located in the heart of the quiet village that is Kelsall, Giovanni's Italian Restaurant is the perfect place for a quiet evening out.
Recently redecorated and given a fresh new look, Labellas's has been given a new name - Giovanni's.
This picture is of my grandparents which was taken in 1929 where my grandfather was station master in Cerignola south of Foggia, Puglia.
His name was Francesco, which is my middle name. My father was born a year after this photo was taken and the baby in my grandmother's arms has the original picture in her house.
